An Adventure of the American Mind: Joining Educators and Students With Library of Congress Resources
Introduction

AAM Partners

Adventure of the American Mind began in 1999 with 5 colleges and university partners. It eventually expanded to 25 educational institutions in 9 states. Of the original AAM partners, 20 of them have completed their AAM projects.

Following the success of the AAM pilot, the Library of Congress began a new permanent project in 2006 entitled Teaching with Primary Sources (TPS). Fifteen of the original AAM partners have joined the TPS program and continue to provide high quality professional development to K-12 educators. To learn more about TPS, please visit http://www.loc.gov/teachers/tps/.

The five remaining AAM partners will conclude their projects in North Carolina in 2008.
